How often does the choir rehearse?

We rehearse once a week on a Monday evening between 7 - 9pm.

In the week leading up to a concert performance you are usually expected to attend an extra rehearsal.

Members are expected to attend regularly, and to learn their own part to the songs we are singing, as this is important for the success of the choir.

What happens in a rehearsal?

We usually begin by singing some vocal exercises and fun songs to warm up and develop our singing voices. Then we move on to learning a new song, or we practice and improve songs from previous rehearsals.

Although we have a short break in the middle of a rehearsal, there is no time to make refreshments, so you are advised to bring along a drink of water to lubricate your vocal chords!

How often does the choir perform?

We aim to perform 4 - 5 times a year, raising money for charity through our performances.

How do I pay?

Payments are made by monthly standing order.
